A Journey through the wild wild west has to be on everyone’s bucket list for sure!  This summer we had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful landscapes of the west.  I’ve shared some of my photo with you in the section above titles, My Adventures.  Take a peek.  I’d love to hear about your adventures to the West as well.  I’m always look for new places to venture to… great settings for my books of course!  Please click here to share your travels….

  1. One of my all time favorite memories of the West was in Salt Lake City, when I went to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice. There was only about three of us in the church to listen and it was truly transcendental. I couldn’t believe that this was just practice. Their rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it. Thanks for your blog about your wonderful trip. It brings back memories for me.

    • Yes, I agree, the Mormon Tabernacle is beautiful. But sad to say on our trip 2 years ago, visitors were no longer allowed inside unless they were members of the church. But we did go out to the Great Salt Lake and took the narrow causeway onto Antelope Island. It is the largest island in the lake and boasts a herd of bison and pronghorn sheep, as well as great views of the lake as you drive around the perimeter.
